I had never heard of the award until I was nominated! This award spotlights new and upcoming bloggers and is a great way to connect with other bloggers and mommas like you.

Three Facts About Me

In keeping with the rules here are my three facts.

I am a southern girl who loves warm weather and the beach. I grew up going to the beach every summer. It is truly one of my most happy places. My husband doesn’t really care for the beach, but he loves me enough to hang in there with me.
I love dogs, always have. I wanted to be a veterinarian growing up, but there was too much science involved. HA! So instead, my family and I help dog rescues. We have been a foster family for multiple dogs, as well as volunteering our time when needed.
I love meeting new people and traveling. I find new places fascinating and exhilarating. My husband and four kids are the same way, so it’s very common to find ourselves in conversation with total strangers pretty much anywhere we go.

Questions From Juggling Like A Mother

What do you enjoy most about blogging?

The thing I enjoy most about blogging is the interaction with other mommas and women. I love learning from others and bouncing ideas around with them. I think I grow, as a person, more when I surround myself with people who challenge and encourage me. Blogging has given me a platform to build friendships with women that I would never have had otherwise.

What does your perfect day look like?

My perfect day would be sitting on the beach reading a book or just taking a nap with no interruptions or taking a road trip with my husband.

What is your all time favorite song?

This is a very tough one!! I will give you a song that means a lot to me because I am from Alabama… Sweet Home Alabama. Every time I hear it, I have good memories that flash through my mind. Since I don’t live in Alabama any longer, this song is more meaningful.

What one word would your friends use to describe you?

Friendly. I have been known for my friendly smile, greeting everyone.

If you had three wishes, what would they be?

This is another tough one. Number one would be that I could be a mom that brings out the best in my four kids and that I could teach/train them without “me” getting in the way. Number two would be to have enough money to fully support a missions organization. Number three that my husband and I could take a trip some where different a few times a year until we’ve seen most of the world together.
