The new year brings a chance to start over. It gives us an opportunity make changes and set new goals. We can forget about what we did last year and look forward to the days to come.

One way we can organize our fitness goals is by actually having a goal. My goal this year is to MOVE! Moving is my number one goal to get my body healthy this year. I am scheduling a time everyday to get moving for at least 30 minutes. Some of the action steps I have written down to meet my goal to get moving include: taking a walk, using my SBF subscription (I’ll tell you more about this below), playing a game in the yard with my kids, or walking the track while my kids have sports practice.

I want to be more intentional about getting up and finding ways to get my heart rate up. As a mom of four I am always busy and moving, but it is not intentional moving for my health. I want my movement to help me gain strength and benefit my health. I know that good movement creates more energy and that is what I am aiming for.

One of the ways I am going to be intentional with my movement is through the action step I mentioned above, SBF (Suzanne Bowen Fitness). SBF is a subscription I started about three years ago and I love it! Here’s what I love about Suzanne’s fitness program:

1. I can do it at home at any time of the day. (Workouts are streamed on my iPad and I have over 350 different videos to choose from.)
2. They are not overly extreme in intensity. (My mama body just can’t handle an intense workout)
3. There is no pressure from anyone. (This is not a coaching type workout)
4. She teaches based on ability level. (Great for beginners and advanced alike)
5. I have seen results! (You set your own goals)

I have seen this program bring major results in strength, flexibility, energy, and stamina. It is a program I have shared with many of my friends. I even got one of my friends to do it with me and be my accountability. (That was a lot of fun!)

SBF offers a one day free trial where you can access all 350+ workouts to see if it’s something you would like to do.  I think this is a great way to investigate without the commitment.

If you have any questions about this program feel free to comment below. (PS-this is not a direct sales company just one I use and love to share about)

What fitness goal have you set for yourself this year?
I want to encourage you to write it down, make a plan to do it, and then DO IT!
I would love to hear what your plan is. Maybe I can get some tips from you, leave a comment and tell me your plans.
