Recently, I learned about an educational website called Education.com

Our family does not use online education classes as a part of our homeschool curriculum, however, my children do enjoy educational online games and printouts for extra practice. This website provides both of this things and more. If you were to visit their website, you would find the following things:

  1. Printable Worksheets (broken down by grade)
    1. Math
    2. Reading
    3. Social Studies
    4. Science
    5. Writing
  2. Online Games (broken down by grade)
    1. Math
    2. Reading
  3. Lesson Plans (for teachers and parents)
    1. Math
    2. Reading
    3. Writing
  4. They also offer resources by subject, which include the following:
    1. Fine Arts
    2. Foreign Language
    3. Math
    4. Reading & Writing
    5. Social Studies
    6. Science
  5. They also have the content broken down into adult led and independent work.

This website is filled with thousands of resources for teachers, parents, homeschoolers, public school students, private school students, really everyone. The resource library age range spans from preschool to 5th grade.

What is so great about this website is that a lot of the resources are free. They do offer a premium membership that has all the bells and whistles. The premium membership offers guided lessons, all access to the resource library, and so much more. One really cool thing about the membership is you can digitally assign your kids worksheets and games to practice in the kid mode. Cool, huh?! You can see all that is included here. And all membership levels are 50% off right now.

I think the area that my family will use the most is the math game section. My kids are always in need of fun ways to practice and master their math facts. Honestly, it wouldn’t hurt if I practiced along with them. Ha!

If you are a parent of a child, who is somewhere between preschool and 5th grade, and you need some extra help when it comes to helping them master a subject, you really need to go check this website out. It really is a fun, entertaining way to enhance learning.

I have been given permission to share this free sea creatures spelling worksheet with you. Feel free to download this PDF worksheet and share it with your children. If they enjoy it there are MANY more at http://www.education.com.

Sea creatures to the rescue as students search and practice their spelling skills with this fun word search. Check out Education.com for more learning resources and printables just like this!

Let me know what you think about the website and what you are using.
